The Pearl River fishing ban 2024 will be in effect from March 1 to June 30.

During this period, all fishing operations, except for recreational fishery and fishing activities, are prohibited in all natural waters (riverways) and interconnected lakes within the city, mainly including inland waters such as Xiaolan Waterway, Jiya Waterway, Hongqili Waterway, Hengmen Waterway, Modaomen Waterway and their tributaries.

From February 29 to March 2, Zhongshan's marine law enforcement department carried out joint law enforcement actions to ensure the smooth implementation of the Pearl River fishing ban.
