The "I Have a Tree in Zhongshan" (我在中山有棵树) public welfare campaign was launched in Zhongshan on April 23, with the same-name applet released on WeChat.

The campaign consisted of three activities, including Planting a Green Tree, Sponsoring a Fruit Tree, and Preserving an Ancient Tree.

Currently, the registration is open for the Planting a Green Tree activity on WeChat, with a total of 17,000 seedlings available.

You can choose your favorite planting site and kind of trees on applet, and pay the fee with WeChat Pay to confirm the planting. Or you can choose direct donation, and the money will be used for the city's tree planting campaigns.

After registration, you can choose to plant the tree in person or by entrusting others. You will receive a certificate of honor with an exclusive code upon completion of planting.

There are nearly 300 planting sites across the city, and there are plans to plant such kinds of trees as Camphor, Indochina Dragonplum, Bishop Wood, White Champaca, Sweet Olive and Bald Cypress.
