The Zhongshan Local Legislative Research Center was unveiled on December 16.

With the purpose of strengthening legislation, the Zhongshan Local Legislative Research Center was established in late July this year.

The center is mainly responsible for:

Carrying out research on local legislative theory, legislative projects, and the filing and review of normative documents;

Conducting comparative research on local legislation and collaborative legislation, and participating in the drafting of local legislation;

Contacting NPC deputies, members of the NPC Legislative Affairs Committee and others, and conducting such activities as soliciting opinions on legislation, legislative hearings, legislative consultations and professional training.
