The Shenzhen-Zhongshan (Cuiheng) International Exchange and Cooperation Center (SZIECC), jointly established by Shenzhen and Zhongshan cities, was put into use in Zhongshan's Cuiheng New District on April 10.

Integrating the forces of foreign-related institutions in Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macao, the SZIECC provides advice or support to enterprises and institutions that are engaged in international exchange and cooperation in terms of global resource matchmaking, foreign-related legal affairs, multilingual translation, APEC business travel card application, overseas consular protection, and etc.

The first exchange event was held after the opening ceremony at the Cuiheng International Science & Technology Innovation Center. The 5 SZIECC initiators signed the framework agreement on international cooperation, followed by theme roadshows and lectures on such topics as the present international situation.
