After a 17-month construction, the Xiaolan Service Area on Zhongshan-Jiangmen Expressway was put into operation on April 18.

Renovated from the original Dongsheng Service Area, the Xiaolan Service Area is 1.32 times larger, with a total of 568 parking spots, 75 charging spots and a greening area of about 13,600 square meters in its north and south sections.

The service area features Guangdong's first service building over-crossing the main line of an expressway. With a large theme shopping center, it aims to become a modern landmark in the Greater Bay Area integrating transportation, agriculture, culture, tourism and business.
