Ko, whose ancestral home is in Zhongshan's Shiqi, has left an indelible mark on Chinese cinema through iconic works like The Happy Ghost series and All's Well, Ends' Well, which have accompanied the growth of multiple generations of audiences.

Now, through his Zhongshan-based creative hub, he aims to cultivate local talent, incubate original projects, and elevate the city's industry profile while bridging connections across the Greater Bay Area and beyond.

During a sharing session at Zhongshan Book Fair, Ko articulated strategic insights on leveraging Greater Bay Area opportunities, fostering closer ties with Hong Kong and Macao film sectors, and propelling premium content development through cross-regional synergy.
