To mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the "Ever Shining Cinema" event organized by the Communication University of China took place on December 2.

Thirty visually impaired participants listened to the story of the movie Island Keeper through a blend of original soundtrack and detailed audio descriptions, deeply feeling the quiet strength of ordinary heroes.

Innovatively, the "Ever Shining Cinema" adds precise visual descriptions during pauses between dialogue and sound effects. From subtle facial expressions to sweeping landscapes and the emotional subtext of camerawork, everything is conveyed through sound, enabling visually impaired audiences to "hear" images and truly understand the story.

To date, the Ever Shining Project has produced over 700 accessible films, two accessible TV dramas and one animated TV series, benefiting 17.32 million visually impaired people.
