Zhongshan's Guzhen Town is elevating its international service standards and reinforcing its global appeal as the "Lighting Capital of China" through building the "International Living Room", a service center for foreign businessmen, and improving "green channel" government services.
Located at the Dengdu Seasons Park, the 500-square-meter "International Living Room" is undergoing renovation. It is set to open in two months.

The center will provide one-stop services including dispute mediation and cultural exchange, upgrading government support from single-point efficiency to full-chain coverage.
A complementary international-style food street is under planning, creating synergistic services to welcome overseas buyers for the upcoming lighting fair in March.

Guzhen exports lighting products to over 180 countries, and more than 2,000 international buyers residing annually in the town. The town has established a dedicated foreign business counter at its public service center, offering multilingual guidance and public services online and offline. In 2025 alone, the counter served over 300 foreign nationals and assisted 67 foreign-funded enterprises to go through procedures.
Many foreign entrepreneurs, such as Turkish restaurateur Dogan Kuet and Syrian barber Ibrahim, are looking forward to the "International Living Room", which will enhance daily business and living convenience.
Guzhen's future initiatives include bilingual signage upgrades on main roads and business English training, fostering an open, inclusive international business ecosystem.
