During the nine-day Chinese New Year holiday (February 15-23), Zhongshan Passenger Port handled approximately 27,000 inbound and outbound passengers.

Outbound travelers exceeded 14,000, while inbound reached over 12,000. Peak traffic occurred from Day 2 to Day 7 of the Chinese New Year.

Ahead of the holiday, a surge in Hong Kong residents and overseas Chinese returning home kept inbound numbers high, with daily averages exceeding 1,400.

On February 19 alone, over 4,000 passengers were processed, triple the daily average, setting a new holiday single-day record.
