The operator of the new Zhongshan Passenger Port has issued a tender notice on the city's public resources trading platform, inviting open bids for the business entity of the duty-free shop at the port. Bids will be opened online on June 29.

Earlier this year on January 21, five departments, including the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Commerce, issued a notice stating that, with the approval of the State Council, a duty‑free shop will be established at Zhongshan Passenger Port.

The shop up for tender, covering approximately 110 square meters, is located on the first floor of the port's joint inspection building. It mainly serves travelers who have finished departure formalities or hold valid entry-exit documents.
