The Huangpu Port heavy-duty truck supercharging station, built by Zhongshan Integrated Energy Services Co, went into operation on August 28. 

Linked with the Shangjiwei heavy-duty truck charging station at Zhongshan Port, it marks the establishment of Zhongshan's first demonstration zero-carbon transport corridor, stretching about 30 kilometers between the two ports.

The supercharging station is located at the heart of the Huangpu Port Area in Wulan Village in Huangpu Town. It is the first dedicated heavy-duty truck supercharging facility in the port logistics cluster of northern Zhongshan.

The newly commissioned Phase 1 includes one 1,250 kVA European-style terminal box transformer, one 720 kW main charging unit, six 250 A air-cooled dual-gun charging terminals, and one 480 kW integrated dual-gun charging station. Collectively, they can meet the routine power needs of short-haul port shuttles and heavy trucks moving to and from the port.
