On June 30, 2024, the ShenZhong Link opened to traffic. This cross-sea link, like a shining pearl ribbon, connects Zhongshan with Shenzhen, and further bridges the future of the GBA. 

January 16, 2025 marks the 200th day since the opening of the Link. Ricardo Vogt, a Brazilian musician living in Zhongshan, has specially composed a song titled "The Ribbon Over the Pearl" for this occasion.
