On August 15, China's new regulation on power banks officially takes effect.

Only those bearing a clearly visible and valid China Compulsory Certification (CCC) label are now permitted on board. Devices with missing, damaged, or unclear labels, or those officially recalled due to safety concerns, are strictly prohibited.

Devices under 100 watt-hours (Wh) are generally permitted on board, while those between 100 and 160 Wh require airline approval. Devices exceeding 160 Wh remain strictly prohibited.

On-site services, such as temporary storage and power bank mailing, have been provided for passengers at the airports.
