Yongmo Village in Sanxiang, Zhongshan, with a history of nearly a thousand years, is the hometown of the renowned late-Qing/early-modern enlightenment thinker, industrialist and educator Zheng Guanying. It is also an important stop on the Qi'ao Ancient Road. 

Thanks to the "High-quality Development Project for Guangdong Counties, Towns and Villages", this once-prosperous ancient village has been revitalized. Strolling through its lanes, one can experience a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, where the vitality of daily life meets poetic charm.

Carlos Batalha, a Macanese, has settled down in Sanxiang with his wife for over 20 years. He not only speaks fluent Cantonese but also has a deep appreciation for traditional Chinese culture. He visited Yongmo Village to explore and experience its revitalization.
