After nearly six months’ construction, Deneng Lake Sports Park has been renovated and reopens to the public in recent days. Many citizens have come to the park for tour.

The renovated park newly adds functional areas including a recreation zone, a small square, and a leisure zone, and upgrades sports venues such as five-man football pitches, basketball courts, badminton fields, table tennis courts, and etc.

The renovation of Deneng Lake Sports Park started in June 2017. So far the sports facilities and green infrastructure are basically completed. The follow-up construction will be finished by the Spring Festival this year.

According to housing and urban-rural development department, among the 5 major sports parks in Zhongshan, the Guzhen Sports Park has been activated and put into use now, while the Torch Zone Deneng Lake Sports Park and the Huangpu Sports Park are both basically completed. The Tanzhou Tielu Mountain Sports Park is under construction at present, while the Shaxi Fenghuang Mountain Sports Park is under the preparatory stage.
