Fufeng Tower (aka Yandun Mountain Tower) was built in September 1608, created by county magistrate Cai Shanji. 

It is a seven-storey octagon pavilion-style brick tower set on a flat area. The pointed-shaped bricks and feather edge bricks are stacked layer after layer. 

Fufeng Tower features a height of 24.5 meters and it was hollow originally. In 1952, the upper three storeys were rebuilt to solid. The tower spire is cast with iron. 

At present, the first to third floors are open to the public. Visitors can climb up the stairs, and step outside to the tower corridor on each floor, where they have have a glimpse of the beautiful surrounding landscapes and even the panoramic view of the city downtown.
