The Guangdong Department of Culture and Tourism released the first batch of 100 top-quality rural tour routes in Guangdong Province a few days ago. The only route on the list in Zhongshan is the "Tourism Area of Sun Yat-sen's Hometown Rural Tour Route". 

The route covers the Tourism Area of Sun Yat-sen's Hometown (including Cuiheng Village, the Museum of Dr Sun Yat-sen, the Memorial Park of Xinhai Revolution, Zhongshan Studio City and Litoujian Mountain), Yakou Seafood Street and Yakou Homestays.

"Because of its proximity to the Tourism Area of Sun Yat-sen's Hometown and the excellent natural environment of Yakou Village, many college students or non-governmental organizations often gather in homestays to organize team construction or other social activities," said Tan Jian, the owner of the Hetian Xiangye Hostel in Yakou Village.
