Zhongshan Cuiheng National Wetland Park was officially opened on December 30, 2019. The open areas include the Sanqianmu Ferry, Garden in the Sea, Mangrove Forest, Tortuous Marsh, Memory of Xiangshan and Birds in the Woods on the west bank zone of the park.

Located at the Hengmen West Waterway, Pearl River Estuary of Tsuihang New District, Cuiheng National Wetland Park has a planned area of 625.6 hectares and a length of 5.4 kilometers,  with a wetland ratio of 63.21%. The park has coastal wetlands and constructed wetlands, including five wetland types, namely estuary waters, mangroves, silt beaches, intertidal salt marshes and paddy fields.

At present, the park is only open to visitors by reservation, with a daily limit of 200 visitors. Citizens can make a reservation on WeChat applet "Cuiheng Wetland (翠亨湿地)". Visitors, with the reservation code, can take the shuttle bus from the Sanqianmu Ferry Parking Lot, the former Happy Farm, to the publicity and education zone of the park.

The wetland park is open from 9:00 to 17:00 every day and last admission is at 16:00.
