Cuiheng National Wetland Park re-opened to the public on February 21. Before entering the park, visitors should take their body temperature and register their identity information.
Li Wenqing, head of the park's property management, said that at most 800 visitors per day can make reservations to enter the park through the WeChat applet "Cuiheng Wetland". From Monday to Friday, the park received about 200 visits every day.
The park also disinfects public facilities such as science learning halls every day. Children's recreation facilities are temporarily closed.
Five observation rooms have also been temporarily set up in the scientific research base, where tourists with fever or other symptoms temporarily will be isolated for observation.
On Monday morning, Mr He from East District, along with his two family members visited Cuiheng National Wetland Park. "I made a reservation online the night before," said Mr He, adding that they did so to avoid the peak visiting hours on weekdays and large gatherings of tourists.
