On the morning of June 13, the 10th Zhongshan Lotus Tourism and Culture Festival kicked off in Xiangnongzhou Agricultural High-tech Park in Shaxi Town. With the theme "China Should Be Beautiful", this year's event will last until July 31.

In addition to Xiangnongzhou, citizens can also appreciate elegant and gorgeous lotus flowers at the Yakou Flower Association Lotus Base in Nanlang Town, Deneng Lake Park in Torch Development Zone, Fenghuang Mountain Park in Shaxi Town, and Lijingyuan Garden in West District.

Along with the Lotus Festival, there will also be joint exhibitions of the outstanding art work that won the national "Ode to Lotus" poetry, calligraphy and couplet competition and orchid exhibition.
