Jinzhong Lake and Cuihu Lake were recently selected as candidates for the Guangdong "Beautiful Rivers and Lakes" list. Online voting is still underway.

Starting this year, the Guangdong Province Department of Ecology and the Environment will annually hold a campaign to collect articles related to beautiful provincial rivers and lakes, of which 5 sites will be submitted to the Ministry of Ecology and the Environment.

Jinzhong Lake Park is located in the Jinzhong Lake area, East District of Zhongshan City, with Guxianglin Park in the east and Zhongshan Arboretum in the west. The 5-km Cuihu Lake ecological belt is located on Ma'an Island, Tsuihang New District.
