The 2022 China (Guangdong) International Tourism Industry Expo (CITIE) was held in Guangzhou on August 9.

In order to develop Zhongshan's image as a cultural tourism city, the Zhongshan Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau organized participation in the CITIE, and built the Zhongshan Pavilion and online 3D Metaverse Immersive Zhongshan Cloud Pavilion to comprehensively display Zhongshan's intangible cultural heritage programs, culture, tourism and featured products and promote its cultural and tourism resources.

At the expo, Zhongshan showcased its excellent cultural and tourism resources through promotional videos, cultural tourism guides, food maps, promotional brochures, and cultural creative products.

Activities related to the Guangdong Culture and Tourism Promotion & Consumption Season are carried out from July to August. Ten enterprises including Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort and Zhongshan Zhan's Garden Culture Communication Co Ltd have participated in the activities.
