Shenwan Overseas Chinese History and Culture Exhibition Hall, the first overseas Chinese history museum in town (district) in Zhongshan, opened on January 13.

Located at Shierhuan Village, the Exhibition Hall was rebuilt on the century-old Peng's Ancestral Hall. It aims to present the features of an overseas Chinese hometown and tell the stories of overseas Chinese through cultural exhibitions, display of items and untilization of audio technology and videos. 

The Exhibition Hall consists of five parts and presents the history and culture of overseas Chinese in Shenwan, as well as the splendor of overseas Chinese, Hong Kong and Macao compatriots and returned overseas Chinese in Shenwan, and overseas Chinese businessmen and enterprises at home and abroad.
