The Zhongshan Talent Park, located in the core part of Qijiang New Town, is currently under the final stage of construction before its opening.

It is a wetland park with water channels connecting to the Qijiang River, with the land-water ratio is about 1:1. White egrets fly in formation gracefully over the water, complementing various flora such as bald cypress and Kandelia candel trees, muhly grass, sargassum and reeds within the park.

The industrial-style iron corridor adds a sense of retro charm to the artificial river. The boldly designed herringbone observation tower has the potential to become a popular urban landmark.

The Shenzhen-Maoming Railway Zhongshan section, which is about to begin construction, will traverse the park. When the river is at low tide, the greenbelt land and the railway tracks will form a landscape with a shape of Chinese character "中", and a shape of Chinese character "山" at high tide (中山 means Zhongshan). The shape of the park resembles the Chinese character "人" (means person), symbolizing Zhongshan patiently awaiting the arrival of outstanding people.

Inside the park there is also a talent ecology pavilion, featuring a Zhongshan International Talent Hub service station and areas for talent exchange activities and recreation.
