The 2024 Xiaolan Intangible Cultural Heritage Carnival was recently launched, during which 9 culture, business and tourism projects were signed. With a total investment of over 1.2 billion yuan, these projects involve accommodation, entertainment, cultural and creative, sports, catering and other business types.
The Huifeng Commercial City and Business Hotel project has the largest investment. A modern commercial complex, with an art-business crossover style, will be built, covering a shopping mall, restaurants and a villa hotel. The total investment is expected to hit 800 million yuan.
The Zhongshan International Baseball Center project will include upgrading the existing Pandas Heritage Stadium into a stadium that can hold 7,000 people, and building another 3 auxiliary facilities that will be used for the 15th National Games. In the future, it will also be built into a sports park for carrying out training and holding events.
Besides, Xiaolan will also build an "Ice-Snow World". A 20,000-square-meter pneumatic-structure indoor venue will be built, equipped with ski trails, ice park, fun cabins, ski training machines, drifting river, wave pools, water slides and other facilities.
