From 2017 until now, Mr Su has been restoring 8 old houses in Zhongshan. One of the places is called Wu Jia Cun, a row of five old houses in Beitai Village, Zhongshan. Their owners are overseas Chinese who live in the United States and Australia.

The buildings of Wu Jia Cun were most likely completed in the early 1930s. In these houses, we can see a lot of local culture elements. The facades are very beautiful, especially the brick carving and the lime sculpture.

Beitai is the hometown of many pioneers of the Chinese Air Force, including Yang Xianyi (Sen Yet Young), the "father of the Chinese Revolutionary Air Force", and Yang Guanyu, the principal of the Guangdong Aviation School.

Mr Su has an aerial photo shot in the 1930s. According to Ms Chen Diqiu, an expert on overseas Chinese history, this photo was provided by a descendant of Yang Xianyi in the 1980s. Who exactly took this aerial photo? It is still a mystery.
