After a year-long renovation with a 100 million yuan investment, the Diyin Lake eco-tourism area in Zhongshan's Sanjiao Town has reopened with a new look. The transformation shifts it from a conventional ecological sightseeing place to an integrated "ecology-sports-education" destination.

The renovation was carried out on two thirds of the 200-hectare scenic spot, making it a hotspot for family trips, educational tours and leisure retreats within the Greater Bay Area.

Excellent water and an intact wetland ecosystem make Diyin Lake a prime bird habitat, offering visitors immersive nature and birdwatching experiences.

The national defense education camp that was launched earlier in February has gained popularity. It features 1:1 replicas of strategic military equipment, large-sized displays and 12 realistic military experience programs.

Football fields and other sports facilities also allow visitors enjoy athletic fun amidst the beautiful lake and mountain scenery.
