Zhongshan's Gangkou Wetland Park (the Victory Bay section) has been open to the public free of charge since September 1, offering residents a colorful space for recreation, fitness and family outings.

Following a major upgrade, the park features 22,000 square meters of green space, more than 700 meters of walk-in revetments, a 2.2-kilometer lakeside jogging trail, and an 820-square-meter parking lot.

A standout feature of the upgrade is the natural gently sloping shoreline. Native aquatic plants have been introduced to stabilize the banks and purify the water, restoring the wetland's natural land-water ecosystem and creating an ideal place for visitors to get close to, interact with, and enjoy the water.

The expansive lawns offer plenty of flexible space for pitching tents, laying out picnic mats, and enjoying a relaxing urban camping experience.
