"In our Bird Sanctuary, there are many rare birds such as red-crowned cranes, white cranes, black swans, mandarin ducks, red-bellied golden pheasants, blue peacocks, silver pheasants and egrets." Around 3 pm on April 2, Zimaling Zoo launched live streaming to lead citizens to "travel to the Bird Sanctuary" and popularize knowledge of birds in real time.

"We actually want to take this chance to let everyone know more about birds." Zoo director Wu Xuandong told Zhongshan Daily that China, with 1,445 bird species in its territory, is one of the countries with the largest number of bird species in the world. However, with the deterioration of the ecological environment, the protection of birds is facing a more and more severe situation.

"I also hope that after watching the live stream, everyone can understand the living habits and characteristics of some birds, pay more attention to birds in your life, live in harmony with small animals, and pass on the concept of an ecological civilization." Wu added.
