The city received 175,800 overnight tourists, up 3.21% year-on-year, during the 4-day holiday.

The event incorporated garden party, photography competition, agritainment, painting and calligraphy, among other amazing activities. The Fourth Shenwan Pineapple Tourism Cultural Garden Fair 2019 was also launched at Ziyou Farm that same day.

China Post issued a set of two commemorative stamps marking the 100th anniversary of the May 4th Movement on May 4, 2019. The two stamps have a face value of 1.20 yuan each.
