A set of two special stamps entitled "The Year of Ji-hai", with a face value of 2.40 yuan, was issued on Jan 5 by China Post. China Post also issued a stamp booklet priced at 12 yuan.
Statistics show that last year's Zhongshan air quality was rated "excellent" for 155 days and "good" for 157 days. The overall standard rate reached 85.5%.
The event's main venue, with the theme "Enter the New Era", will be set at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Park. A total of 31 sets of beautiful lanterns will be exhibited.
