A ceremony was held on March 12 at Sun Yat-sen's former residence in Zhongshan to commemorate the 99th anniversary of the passing away of the statesman.
Folk performances, such as the Piaose parade, firecracker-grabbing and puppet shows, were staged one after another, carrying people's good wishes for prosperity and peace.
